Condensed Matter Theory

Since the charges and spins of electrons interacts with one another in various materials, sometimes phase transitions occur towards the magnetism, the charge order, or the superconductivity etc as a result. The quantum fluctuation tends to destroy such orders. The interplay of the quantum fluctuation and the interactions recently yielded novel charge orders and high-Tc superconductivity in the strongly correlated electron systems and the molecular conductors. We research the mechanisms of these interesting phenomena observed at SPring-8 using numerical simulations.
