Our University is situated on the mountain and I was amazed at the natural beauty of this place on the first sight. Being very isolated from the crowd, I really like this place to study and concentrate on the research. University of Hyogo has a close collaboration with the RIKEN SPring-8 center and SPring-8 center has the world’s advanced photon-science technologies like third generation Synchrotron facility, XFEL facility, Electron Microscopy, Vibrational Spectroscopy & more. I am conducting my studies at SPing-8 center focusing on structural biology. It is a great chance for me to learn from and work with the RIKEN scientists along with the University Professors. One of the main challenges in Japan is language barrier. Due to the international environment here, the leading program courses are conducted in the English language. Also, the Professors, staffs, & students are very friendly and helpful which was advantageous for me to adapt with this new environment. Moreover, learning Japanese from friends, outdoor sports, and gymnasium facility made my life very comfortable and enjoyable here.

Location of University of Hyogo Harima campus quite isolated at the top of mountain. Less social lifestyle but it’s good for research activity where student can give 100% focus without any interruption from outside world.

I like this place because there are not so many buildings here, the nature is stunning and it refreshes my mind. Our dormitory is cheap and comfortable. This place also creates good mood for experiment in my lab. Overall, I am happy during my living in University of Hyogo.

I had some memorable time to travel and go sightseeing after coming in Japan. We have strong international community that helps me to cope with new environment. The most interesting is international student dormitory; it is located very near our research building. I feel comfortable to stay here without any hassles. All in all, I would highly recommend international students to apply to this university to explore multidimensional research facilities.

I feel great to experience student life here. I came from city and have always been surrounded by large building and noisy vehicles. In contrast, this place is filled with beautiful nature and peaceful environment, which makes this university a pleasant place to be. As a student belonging to structural biology, I highly appreciate the research facilities and collaborations provided in my laboratory. It is challenging yet intellectually stimulating place for research. Also, this university and laboratory provide many benefits in terms of financial aid and students’ affair consultation for foreigners. I am living my life as a student to the fullest here.

It has been nearly 1 year since I entered University of Hyogo, the biggest impression for me is environment here. The scenery around our campus is very pleasant, and I can enjoy fresh air every morning, it is my fortune to study here. Moreover, people here are very polite and they are willing to give me a hand when I encounter some difficulties. Also, I experienced colorful Japanese culture and enjoyed delicious Japanese foods. In a word, I am looking forward to future 4 years.

located outside the city, far from the crowd and busy life of downtown, our university has a very conducive environment for study. Supported with complete facilities for research, study and living, surrounded by beautiful nature and stunning views and filled with fresh air, I very much love this place and enjoy my student life here.
