We focus on research and development of beamline equipments and methodologies on protein crystallography. Such research targets on difficult subjects, such as micro-crystals or macromolecular assemblies utilizing high brilliant X-ray beam of SPring-8. On the other hand, we are dedicated to provide researchers with beamline automation and remote access technology in hope to facilitate the use of such technology. Also, we perform the structural study on proteins involved in the metabolism of prostaglandins as well as leukotrienes’ function as the major lipid mediators in the arachidonic cascade.
