The Mineyuki Lab is located in Shosha Campus of Himeji City. Our laboratory research is devoted to understand plant morphogenesis at molecular and cellular level. Specifically, we focus on the following fundamental issues. What is the function of cytoskeletal nano-systems in the process of cytokinesis? Why plant microtubule systems can be organized without centrioles? How plant hormones regulate seed germination and the differentiate fern gametophyte? How bacterial cellulose is produced? We use live-imaging, electron tomography, and micro-CT techniques to examine 3D-structures at nano- and micro-level.
