Human mental and physical activities are controlled by concatenations of neuronal signal transductions. Equally, many biological activities are dependent on photosynthesis that is driven by solar energy. These biological processes are distinct key life phenomenon respectively, leading the frontier of biological research. By utilizing novel and unique electron microscopes and promoting technological developments, our laboratory aims to clarify structures of ‘cells’ at any resolution, as a premise to unravel the truths behind these amazing physiological functions.
