Wed. Feb. 28. Front Cover on Dalton Transactions

A research paper in collaboration with Prof. Yoshio Hisaeda, Dr. Toshikazu Ono (Kyushu Univ.) and Dr. Toru Okawara (Kita-Kyushu College of Technology) was picked as the Cover Picture on Dalton Transactions journal (28 February 2018, Issue 8).
This paper demonstrates synthesis, structure, charge-transfer properties, and photoluminescence of a novel phosphorus(V) complex of porphycene. Recently, the chemistry of porphycene has been developed rapidly, however, there has been no example of porphycene complexes incorporating elements of Group 15 in the periodic table. Therefore, this paper describes the first step to the unexplored area of porphicene complex chemistry. Moreover, the porphycene-phosphorus(V) complex is also attracting attention as a red-emitted non-metal compound from the viewpoint of photoluminescent materials developments.
